Search Party

Search Party were a progressive rock band from Exeter, notable for their wonderful songcraft and use of a DAT machine for their live backing tracks instead of a drummer. Frontman Lawrence Morgan Anstee played five-string guitar, keyboards, pipes and sang lead vocals. Brother Luke Morgan-Anstee played bass and Glen Sherlock played guitars, keyboards and sang. Search Party had an occasional percussionist called Dave who brought a unique twist to the band with his ethnic instruments and eastern rhythms.
