The Bastard Sons of Dennis
The Bastard Sons of Dennis is a duo which features Wim Lijkkes, who plays acoustic guitar and sings, and Yuri Nejsan, who plays acoustic guitar and grunts. They have been described as “arguably among the finest acoustic Blue Oyster Cult cover duos in the EX4 area (excluding Pinhoe).”
After a recent performance at Exeter’s Fuel Cafe, Greg – the owner of the venue – said that The Bastard Sons of Dennis “always fail to disappoint” and a punter named Alex from Pinhoe added that they were “not bad”.
You might catch one of their performances at a live music venue or an open mic night in or reasonably close to Exeter. If you haven’t seen them yet, you really should as they are highly entertaining to see live on stage as well as being uber-talented musicians.
