Cander (1985)

This is the first side of the Laughing Sun Cander cassette which features various songs by Wud recorded over a few days. Graham’s boundless enthusiasm and total lack of drums meant after he arrived he bashed away merrily on an assortment of buckets. It was highly memorable, and a tight live-sounding version of 1984 is perhaps the outstanding track here, although Change was always something of a favourite with its ludicrous chordal complexity.
