Dark Company: DC12
Dark Company have been making music in Studio One today, working on material for their forthcoming 12th album, as yet untitled. Pete laid down his vocal parts for a song called The Borrowers, which sounds a bit like something that could have been by Tindersticks when in full indie mode, except the tempo is too quick for most indie songs. We also made some alpha mixes of recent songs from DC12. If we were to sum up the session in two words, ‘fun’ and ‘productive’ would seem appropriate.
Coming up in the near future for Dark Company will be more work on these new songs and some more mixes of songs from their Ghost of the Art album, which has been undergoing something of a sonic upgrade in recent weeks. We will keep you updated in our News service when there are further developments.
