Dark Company: fiddling with the Alien Heat album

Dark Company have been back in the studio recently and we have been fiddling with the Alien Heat album. This is the oldest unfinished work by Dark Company and we have improved the mixes of two songs, Abnormal and Dancin’ in the Dark. Both of these are now full beta status.

To finish this album we are largely needing guitar and bass parts to be recorded properly, using things such as loud amplifiers, good mics, and in-form players. Some research into important details of early versions of the songs is also needed, along with further mixing and production work, mastering, artwork, industry hype, and so on.

A lot of the music for the Alien Heat album is sounding delicious now. Pete added the harmony to Dancin’ in the Dark recently for this latest upgrade.

Ship to Shore is currently in pieces on the slab right now and will probably be the next upgrade.

Dark Company have been making demos of new songs since Pete’s health improved earlier this year. The band’s 12th album is going to be a real stonker!
