Murdock
Murdock was arguably the most popular band to emerge from the Torbay area since Muse, drawing large crowds of young fans to their live shows. They eventually won the now-legendary Hideaway Battle of the Bands contest in 2001. Original classics such as Girlfriend in a Coma and their splendid cover of the theme tune for Only Fools and Horses were guaranteed to fill the dancefloor.
The band consisted of four talented, good-looking young guys who always played their music with a great sense of fun and virtuosity whilst never taking themselves too seriously.
