After a recent return to form with their splendid recordings and some strong performances at The Hole in the Wall and the NBI, it would seem that our deranged duo will be performing some longer shows in the near future at the NBI and the Fuel Cafe. We will let you know more about these shows when they are confirmed. The next planned performance for The Bastard Sons of Dennis is for The Oddfellows on Monday 7th February.

We have begun the task of upgrading all the mp3s you can hear here at Wud Records from their bit rate of 192 kbps to 320 kbps for your enhanced listening enjoyment. We have uploaded the new improved mp3s from Dark Company’s recently remastered Signmaker album and will be doing the same upgrades to all of the mp3s here in due course.

In other news from Wud Records, we have some new video camera technology and hope to be able to broadcast a live webcam from our studios here, as well as an assortment of other Wud action as and when possible. More news on this will be posted here soon.

We have uploaded a new recording of the Bastard Sons of Dennis playing a cover of Blue Oyster Cult’s Last Days of May. You can listen to it at their studio page by clicking here and it is also in the default music player which is on many pages here at the Wud Records website.

We have uploaded a video of George playing Beautiful Wings from Flicker’s 2002 At Least 1000 Words album to Flicker’s video page and you can see it by clicking here. There is a good helping of general tomfoolery and out-takes at the end of the video. This video is also up at youtube and you can see it by clicking here.

We have also rearranged some of the writings in Flicker’s section at Wud Records to new pages so you can find the various topics there more easily.

The latest Flicker video is of George playing Aeroplane from the At Least !000 Words album and it was uploaded to youtube a short while ago. It is another film similar in its intimate style to the recently uploaded videos of One Place and The Percolator, and like the other two features a number of out-takes and amusing moments at the end.
