It seems likely that Clonk! will be appearing live on stage at the Phoenix, Exeter on November 30th in support of the World AIDS day. Come along and bring a saucy grin!

We all know how good guitarists are at counting. According to the Wud Records studio team, after recording a further set of guides for three Flicker pieces which had not been done previously, despite earlier claims, it can be truthfully said that all the guide tracks for HappySad are in place. Just to reassure you, they were not only counted by guitarists this time!

There are some demos for the subsequent Flicker album, The Snail Gauntlet, which will be uploaded soon.

Many new things have been added to the Wud Records site. Various writings have been updated.

A possible reconvening of some form of Laughing Sun, or Now (Now and Then), that will be known as Alchemeon, will take place this weekend and there is possible news of live shows. There will soon be a further update.

All guide tracks are in place for the forthcoming HappySad album by Flicker.

The new Flicker album, HappySad, is now under construction. Some guide tracks have been recorded and the Wud Records boffins have put on their hard hats and flame retardant clothing and are doing battle with drums, new software and a few blokes from the gas board. Seriously.

Chief composer George was asked to submit a brief comment for these pages regarding recent developments, and he said: “Ha ha, hee hee hee, ho ho ho ho ho!” and looked rather chuffed, which is neither especially insightful nor particularly interesting, but there you have it. In keeping with the title of the record, he perhaps could have wept at least a little to keep things in balance. As no tears were forthcoming our reporter left, stepping carefully over huge piles of pipes, mountains of toolboxes and great cathedrals of broken boilers in order to avoid invoking unwanted health and safety legislation.
