It has recently come to our attention that there still exists a video of a Rough Terrain performance from around 1988, possibly at the Bystock Hotel. If this is true, we would like to be able to share this footage with you on Rough Terrain’s pages here at the Wud Records website. Further updates on this story will follow soon.

Wud Records: ‘links’ page additions
We’ve added a couple of new artists to the Wud Records links portfolio and you should check them out too.
Hey Negrita have their homepage here and they also appear in an award-winning film produced by their frontman Felix here. We also put a link to Felix’s solo recordings, which you can hear here. The Wudmaster’s recommendation is London Rain.
Stephen Yates, composer and jaw-droppingly virtuoso guitarist has a new website. You really have to watch this guy’s videos, they are amazing! You can visit Stephen’s website here and we also recommend that you search out some of his clips on youtube here.
The Bastard Sons of Dennis: The Subhuman
Following on from a number of recent live shows, the Bastard Sons of Dennis have been in the studio recording some of their songs. We are pleased to be able to let you know that the first one of these has been upload to the Wud Records website.
The song in question is called The Subhuman and is a cover of a song by Blue Oyster Cult. It is an acoustic interpretation of the BOC’s live version from On Your Feet or On Your Knees mixed with a little of their studio version from Secret Treaties, mixed with the special treatment the song has had from the Bastard Sons Of Dennis themselves.
You can listen to it now by clicking here.
The Bastard Sons of Dennis: new photos
A few photos of the Bastard Sons of Dennis have been uploaded to a new gallery page for the duo. Many thanks to Roxy for taking them and the Rattle’n’Hum pages at Facebook for publishing them. The shots are from performances at the Oddfellows on September 13th 2010 and the North Bridge Inn (NBI) on September 29th 2010.

Mark Drower and the Everyones: photos uploaded
We’ve found and uploaded photos of the final night’s performance of Everyone at The King’s School, Ottery St Mary in July 1982. There are only four photos because they were taken using a truly awful camera that only had four flashes and no zoom or anything modern like that.
Although you cannot actually see Mark or Simon, they are on a gantry above and to the right of the stage and in the fourth photo you can see some of the cast applauding them. We hope to try to identify some of these people when Professor Dinboffin makes his next visit to Devonshire.

Dark Company: Signmaker remastered
Dark Company’s first album from 1991, Signmaker, has been digitally remastered and it sounds fantastic! We await our graphics department’s work in updating the album artwork and then we shall be re-releasing the album on CD by mail order and mp3 for download. We are also looking into making .wav files available for download as well at some point in the near future.
In other Dark Company news, Pete’s health has been deteriorating and he has barely managed to do anything for quite some time now apart from touch up a couple of vocal tracks from the forthcoming re-release of the Mind Dance album.
We will post more news on all of these subjects in the near future, including giving a release date for Signmaker. We plan to give away a few promotional copies through various online media we use, so keep a look out for our offers.
