A for Acronym CD 1: SNAFU

A for Acronym CD 1: SNAFU is the first CD of a triple CD album by Dark Company. These were the last songs that the band created before Pete passed away in 2016.

A for Acronym has three parts each with a different feel. SNAFU is a rock album, VSF is a reggae album and FUBAR is for everything that doesn’t quite fit into the other two categories.

SNAFU of course is an acronym that stands for “Situation Normal All F*cked Up”, a term that was coined by the military of the United States. It is now in common parlance.

In life Pete and George were both entropy magnets. They somehow attracted the most peculiar events and circumstances to themselves. This was almost certainly one of the reasons they were drawn to each other, as each understood the other’s plight and frustrations.

This collection of songs we are calling A for Acronym CD 1: SNAFU is at alpha stage. Each song requires a great deal more work before proper release.

There is also a lot of other ‘unfinished business’ with regard to Dark Company’s songs. These will need to become finished as well, before the A for Acronym CD 1: SNAFU songs make their way to the big streaming platforms and Bandcamp for purchased and download.
