We have archived some live songs from the wonderful Guernsey rock trio of the early noughties, Guarana. We are sure that there will be a number of our visitors who will remember this band and their beautiful songs. If you would like to enjoy a live set by the mighty Guarana, you can do so by clicking here.

Some time soon we will add some more of their music from the studio. If more Guarana material becomes manifest from anybody who happens by our website, we will be happy to include any extras.

We are very pleased to announce that the traffic figures for Wud Records are up again! July 2011 surpassed the previous best figures from June 2011 by just over 3%. We would like to thank all of our visitors, especially those that bought music from our shop, and we hope you will continue to visit and support Wud Records and Explicit Music.

We have all kinds of exciting developments in the pipeline including TV shows, live streaming and more upgrades to the sites, as well as the development and release of more new and archive material. Our plan for total global domination is exceeding expectations. Soon the entire planet will have been well and truly wudded.

All of the links and playlists for the Rough Terrain pages here at Wud Records have now been upgraded. This means that on the non album-specific pages the songs will not repeat themselves, and all of the clickable icons for the lyrics, information and download links have been hooked up correctly.

We also updated all the SEO information for Rough Terrain, so now it feels as if we are all walking around with halos and wings. Rough Terrain never had any form of harp accompaniment, unfortunately, other than the blues harp blown so stylishly by Mad Blind Screaming Blue Stu in Coping with the Runs in Mexico Blues.

Rage in Heaven has had a sonic upgrade! The remastered Rage in Heaven album by Dark Company is now available to be heard at various places. You can listen at Dark Company’s Rage in Heaven page and the default music player which appears at many pages at our site and is set to ‘random play’ has all the songs as well. Last Train to Heaven, the last track on the Rage in Heaven album, is also included in the current Dark Company playlist to accompany their non album-specific pages.

We are not entirely happy with this latest upgrade, so this is probably not the end of this story. When we have come to some decision as to what should be done next with these we shall let you know.
