We have shuffled the order of the albums for sale at our shop at Bandcamp, to reflect the same page order of our artists as at Wud Records.

Older bands, which are no longer active, are arranged according to the time in which they existed.

Bands that are still active are arranged in order of overall historical sales volume, with Flicker being first as our biggest-selling artist. Active artists Flicker, Dark Company, The Bastard Sons of Dennis and Pok have their material arranged in order of newness.

There are still two tracks on Flicker’s At Least 1000 Words album that need to be remastered.

There is a lot of secret hidden material at Bandcamp, which we plan to release soon when more artwork is developed. We shall let you know all about this in our ‘News’ service when it happens.

It Starts Right Here is the first track on a new Flicker album called HappySad and this track is now released here at Wud Records and at our shop at Bandcamp.

HappySad is under construction and new tracks will be added when they are finished. Anybody who downloads a track or the album for 89% or more of the eventual sales price will be sent free mp3 updates by email. This is like an investment in the album and means the investor will have rare ‘unfinished’ tracks when HappySad is finalised.

We will let Flicker fans know about updates to this album through our ‘News’ service and through social media such as Twitter and Facebook.

The Lecher is an old song by Pok that has been freshly recorded and uploaded to a new page of songs here at Wud Records. We have also released The Lecher for download at our shop at Bandcamp.

The Lecher was written in the music rooms at The King’s Grammar School, Ottery St. Mary in the spring of 1982. It is essentially just a riff and some jamming. It is no longer certain which lecher in particular this song was about.

When we finish more of Pok‘s early songs we will add them to the page we have simply titled Anthology and let his fans know through our ‘News’ service and through social media such as Facebook and Twitter.

This album is under construction and new songs will be added when they are finished. Cover art is also under construction and will be worked on at some time in the future.

Yesterday was the first day back in the Wud Records Studios for Pok, as the recording of his new album begins with an old song called The Lecher. The Lecher was originally created in 1982 when we were all still at school.

This new album from Pok will feature many wonderful songs from the ancient days, moving forwards to more recent times. It is difficult to say how long it will be or when this work will be completed as we are all rather busy, but to actually begin this great work is very pleasing.

We are still in the very early stages and this work has no title or artwork or release date or anything like that yet. We shall be keeping all of Pok‘s fans updated with the latest developments through our ‘News’ service.

Stephen Yates is organising his electric guitar workshops. The first will be 11am to 1:30pm (two one-hour sessions with a half hour break) on Saturday 3rd March 2012 and will take place at the Sound Gallery in the Phoenix Arts Centre, Gandy Street, Exeter. He is hoping these sessions will prove popular. Anyone interested please come along.

The Joker and Wonderlust have been added to the Alien Heat collection by Dark Company. These were the last two songs in need of a sonic upgrade to take them to full alpha status. This means that all of the songs for Alien Heat have now been uploaded to Dark Company‘s Alien Heat page!

There is still a fair amount of work that Dark Company need to do to finish these songs, which are starting to take shape. A lot of fine-tuning, tweaking and improved playing performances will be required, along with final mixing and mastering to complete production.

When we have some completed artwork in place we will release the Alien Heat album at our shop at Bandcamp. Anybody who downloads the songs for 89% or more of the price we set for them when the album is done will be sent upgraded song files as and when they become available. This means that by buying the songs or the album early you will have some of the rare non-finalised Dark Company tracks after the full album is released!
